Andy, when you have time, could you take the same picture but instead of the camp tramp, with the RMD instead?
Nevermind Andy, I think I can picture it. The RMD is just another variant of the DM.

The S6 is an excellent design and the execution was just as good. The S6 is a must have in my book. Depends on how you plan on carrying the knife I suppose. If concealability was a priority, then the DM would be my choice. If this is not an issue, then the S6 would take it for sure. Everyone needs an S6.

Cheers!!! It's sooooooooo good to hear opinions from everyone! Will do my upmost to obtain the S6 first & then add to my collection of decent blades as time goes by. (I actually really fancy a Yard Hook also but just how often do these puppies show up????)
The DM will be still on the shopping list & I will DEFFO be getting a SY bird/fish knife as soon as they come on sale)

its good to have a plan, but you'll save a fortune if you are patient and acquire in the order that you find them reasonably priced or available in the store. I know its hard though.

I was having the same dilemma and I just happened to end up trading for a DMDC. I love it but I think I am ready for the S6 now. So the best thing to do is get the first one that comes along and then pick up the other one!

If you got the dough then pick both of them up. But if you can only have one get the s6. I still regret not picking up a s6 when i had the chance.

Welcome to the yard...I am gonna go against the grain and say DM ...I love the DM...it is still found at a good price ,I have yet to purchase a S6( I want one ) kinda expensive in the secondary market...compared to the DM...
