I handled about 6 different Busse knives in micarta and g10, and the g10 just feels a little like hard plastic, but you're right it is smooth, grippy, and prettier, hahah. But I have an open mind and my preference always changes. There will be well over 50 busse knives at the meet and I'll hold every single one of them and chop a few. I'll post a thread of pictures and review.

I like both. In a folder I prefer G-10 no contest. But on fixed blade slabs, I think the geometry and surface texture is a lot more important than the material assuming it is quality material.

Yea, kinda what I was saying... the G-10 is a bit more sculpted and rounded. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Thanks, I love it too. You can see from those pics how the handle has darkened from use.

Mine is 5 5/16” from point to micarta. Overall length is about 10 1/8”. The spine is squared. The clip doesn’t have a swedge so much as rounded edges. They shouldn’t cut into a baton very much.

The G-10 handled ones are so nice
+1

The RMD is one of the few knives that I really like in G-10.

Andy,

Never pictured a knive with ascenders before, lol

Everyone, thanks for the excellent pics of the RMD, looking forward to getting it.
