You should, it's one of the greatest knives made. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

After seeing the new pic above. Is the swedge the extra piece of handle on the black compared to the tan handle? Near the finger guard. No, it's the somewhat rounded part of the spine near the point. Here's a pic of mine where you can see it better: Personally, I like the swedge better on the RMD.

I really want one of these. But do I want a MPLE more? I just don't know.

Just get both! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
And have No Regrets. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I know easier said than done sometimes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
The RMD has an advantage overall, but the MPLE would make a great little EDC. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I've picked up several new knives lately. I seem to be on a roll! There is always room for one more I suppose. The DMDC I traded for actually has one of your kydex sheaths. I am more of a leather guy but that is some nice kydex.

Look, this is gonna come from almost everyone in the Yard... GET THE RMD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
It's hands down one of the best of knives out their. Great EDC, great bushcraft. It's an all rounder that's hard to beat.
Perfect size, perfect handles, perfect thickness, perfect blade profile, etc., etc., and it has the Busse HT on it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

For the record, I prefer leather myself, but those kydex pants do come in handy too sometimes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hmmm. If I needed any convincing I think I am now convinced. Time to hit the Busse family sale forum. I already picked up a sage AD there today!

No Ratmandus right now on the sale forum. Too bad since I have a buying buzz right now. Maybe tomorrow

The RMD seems to fit everybody perfectly, big or small hands, great geometry in a useful but compact package. To me it's no contest. Or you can always get both. Or an RMD and BDLE, or all 3. You'll never have any trouble getting rid of your extras. I'm in the "get both, decide later" school of thought. You can't beat the mudder handles either though.

ksjumpmd, sweet collection. I wonder who bought the complete set from the store site a few months back? The color combo I really want but seems to be really rare is the black/dark grey. Sexy. I think that's just the same as the Urban Grey and Black under a different lighting. Here's the complete RMD set, which Eric sold a few months ago. As you can see there are 2 different shades of grey. I think the darker one looks better.
