I voted for the Tali-Whacker because I like the point. Make it .200" to .250" thick give it full flat grind and you would have one sweet GP camp knife.

Do you need one, of course you do it's a knife and you like knives.....

Any of the above works for me. While I really like the Camp Tramp design and KG's design, the S7 would also be good. The light easy-handling S6 is a favorite of mine, and it can do light chopping, so the S7 could too. To really have a CT, you need the SR101 steel. I see no reason why Swamp Rat can't make another batch. The handles are right there in Wauseon. Call it a Classic. After a year of experience using SYs and SRs, I'd have to say that the edge holding of SR101 "edges out" the SR77. SR77 holds an edge about as well as a good 1095 steel blade but is tougher. The Taliwhacker seems to have a following, but I plan to avoid Afghanistan.

I like the Taliwhacker idea, but I would prefer a bit of a thumb ramp. I like thumb ramps. So I voted none of the above.

For me & in a 7.5" blade I prefer the look/lines of the Camp Tramp(without the P/Tip). But saying that the S7 also looks the goods. Either way I'm in

Bruce, I just couldn't let the Scrapweiler design be ignored, so I voted for that one.
I like the CT and S7 design just about the same as it though, so I'm cool with any of those.

I should have voted for KGs design. It is beautiful. But I have a Chopweiler. I don't have a Scrapper 7. I still think SRKW should just make another batch of Camp Tramps. You KNOW they would sell.
