They're all nice and I'll probably buy whatever's made, but I don't feel the need need a knife sized between an S6 and a DogFather. Of the four, I'd probably rate them (from most to least favored): 1) The Scrapper 7 Prototype (it's the most "stabby") 2) The ScrapWeiler Concept (SY doesn't have a drop-point, and I didn't like the ChopWeiler handles -- I held one at the last Knob Creek and it wasn't comfortable to me). 3) The Tali-Whacker (the saber grind makes it more suitable to batoning). 4) The Camp Tramp (the blade seems wide and chopper-like, but I don't see it outperforming a DogFather, and I already have that).

I think the camp tramp would be too much like the s6. In terms of size, the Yard Guard/Yard Hook is closer to the Camp Tramp than the Scrapper 6 is, mac. CT & S6 comparison. ![[Linked Image from i6.photobucket.com]](http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y209/andywayne/Knives/Swamp%20Rat/06-11-08-1.jpg)

thanks andy. valuable info in that photo. the d-mutt is a closer copy to the camp tramp than the s6. I always did think the DM looked like a miniature CT. I could certainly live with a SY version of the CT in SR77. It's a good steel. I'd prefer it in SR101, though, but then it would BE a Camp Tramp. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I always did think the DM looked like a miniature CT. The HR looks a lot like it too. ![[Linked Image from i6.photobucket.com]](http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y209/andywayne/Knives/Swamp%20Rat/11-04-06-3.jpg)

Camp Tramp & Chopweiler are both excellent blades! I have a slight preference for the Tramp but it is a very narrow margin. I like both of those better than the "shorter" concept knife.

I like where this poll ended up. The Scrapweiler is great and I'd love a Yard Tramp. The S7 is very nice, but I'd probably pass on any sort of Whacker.

I haven't voted yet, tough decision...
But if it is going to be named S7, I think it makes sense if it's just a longer version of the S6. I'd love to see SR make the CT again, that thing looks like a tank. KG design are always awesome. The tail whacker would be a fun knife to have too, the blade shape does look cool.
