Thanks Arch! I do LOVE my khukuri! Even with a 9" blade it has NO problems with ANYTHING I've thrown at it. I customized it by "swedge"ing the tip, shaping the handle to fit my hand better and taking the buffalo leather sheath apart ditching the chakmak and karda and made it right-side carry. (cause I'm a lefty) The sheath for the Reg LOOKS like it can be carried either way. I think I want it on my left leg in a drop rig. Are there any lefties that can 'vouch' for this?

I couldn't find any info on the ambi nature of the sheath.
