This muddy swamp warden is part of my EDC neck rotation, along with my titanium HAK, and a Bark River PSK, with antique ivory micarta scales. Oh, joy! The pre-timer buzzer on the oven just went off! Time to put in my stuffed porkchops! By the way, that's not me. That's a T-Rex, who lives in the computer room.

Sharp... Didn't see the whole thing? SAY it isn't so! The original was one of those movies that twisted my brain as a youngster. I had the honor of meeting 'flyboy' at the Chiller convention a few years ago; had him sign the cover of my deluxe limited edition multi-disk copy. Definitely a highlight of my meaningless life.
The remake was excellent. We saw a midnight showing, and were very leary of other people when we left the theatre.

Shaolin you don't know what a great choice you made with your first Rat bro !!! If I had to get rid of all my knives except one it would be my Ratmandu, I wouldn't even have to think about it !!! To me the RMD is the perfect knife !!! ![[Linked Image from i129.photobucket.com]](http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/denaleeguy/local027-1.jpg) As regards my other favourites (All the Rats are great ) I do like my Bandicoot... ![[Linked Image from i129.photobucket.com]](http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/denaleeguy/P6160027.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i129.photobucket.com]](http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/denaleeguy/P6160025.jpg) And when it comes to bigger blades IMO the RatWeilers rule !!! ![[Linked Image from i129.photobucket.com]](http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/denaleeguy/P6150017.jpg) And for Really small knives, you can't beat the Swamp Warden.... ![[Linked Image from i129.photobucket.com]](http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/denaleeguy/PICT5100.jpg)

I remember watching Chiller in the late 50's early 60's back in RI. I think it was on Friday or Saturday night's maybe both.

I think the chopweier has the best swamp handle, ever. I find it very comfortable. I didn't like the feel of the original ratweiler.

The chopweiler handle is AWESOME! I think the RMD handle is just as good, but to a completely different end. Those 2 with the Battle Rat and Camp Tramp are easily the 4 I'd want the most. Then bigger and smaller you have either the Howling Rat or Bandicoot and either Rat Daddy or Rat Mastiff.

Shaolin, That is the show that the convention is named in honor of. But this is not the name of the show that use to play horror flicks late at night? Are they not the same?
