Thats in Wyoming. Sadly if it was in Colorado right now all the pines would be dead because of Pine beetles.

This is Island Lake in NW Montana.My sister,her old man and I, camped there Memorial Day weekend 09.I didn't get any pics,but there were Ospreys diving and catching fish in the evenings.Very beautiful.

This is my camp in the central cascades,eastern slopes.Around Blewit Pass.It's peaceful & quite,unless I'm shooting of course,and I can't wait to get back home.My other home.My real home.
Ok cabin fever has definately set in.




These guys are Gray Jays,or camp robbers.I had one land on my chin,and take a cracker out of my mouth.I could feel his claws gripping my chin.Cool.

Ahhh the fire at the end of the day.Can't wait!

Camp robbers are very bold. They will take food out of your hand. Only thing worse is seagulls

When I was in high school, I held out food in my hand and caught one. Then, it came right back. I got in trouble because I could have broken the bird's leg. But, they are daring.
