I just ordered my first Busse myself. I got a Sar5 coming in black on black G10.

I have had INFI though with the SS4 so I know it really does live up to the hype.

I always thought the SusScrofa would work really well with Crane style kung fu because it is like a beak or claws of some raptor.

I got a great deal on a blue/black-satin SS recently, and just sent an offer on a serrated green linen double-cut. I still think that the SS is not pretty, in the right mood I'd even call it ugly -- it's a poor offensive weapon, but seems quite practical as a cutting tool. As a collectible, they're not even holding value, let alone appreciating, but that may change once they're no longer available through the company store (as certainly happened with AKs). I've been having buyer's regret about canceling my order for a serrated SS, so maybe I'll get one from the offer.

I don't think any knive (properly made) is a poor offensive weapon. I'm not including those China Knock-Offs that when you look at them fall apart, lol I know people that would rather be shot then taken care of with a blade.

I'm saying that a design intended for thrusting is a much better tool for killing, and so is a much better offensive weapon. There are a few places on the body where a slash will kill quickly, but for the most part, slashing blades are more likely to be considered defensive.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, I suspect that most police would be less interested in you for carrying a Sus Scrofa than for having a Leaner Meaner -- even though the blades are of similar size. I think the SS is a better working tool and can also be quite effective at inflicting injury, but somebody cut is simply more likely to survive than someone stabbed.

Nice knife!
Now, you need to get some duct-tape, so you can attach it to your foot and carry it 'raptor style.

Oh, my puppies want to chew on the handles. 'Looks tasty', they just barked at me.

I gave them Nikki's boot, instead. That'll teach her not to be home.

That offer that I sent on the serrated green linen double-cut SS was accepted and its paid for and on the way. I've been watching another green linen double-cut (not serrated, but with a sheath) for a while; its price continued to drop until I just couldn't stand it anymore. So, I went from having no Sus Scrofas to having three in a one month span -- I still think they're pretty ugly, but quite practical.
