the mono chrome is a nice knife but at that price i went with a byrd speaking of which i also deep pocket carry a byrd flight g10 on occasion

It opens in a twinkling of an eye with a sound snap and is made from 154CM like the Troodon,both TiNives,the Benchmade 3550,Puppy,Bird and on and on.

I really have a load of that 154CM but only two made with that Busse magic in them. Great steel that is. Takes a true hair popping edge and holds it for a very long time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

And sorry Nick but I have yet to part with any knife that finds its way into my home. I love them all for their own reasons and I cherish them all.

this emerson cqc-14 "snubby" is with me at all times 24/7 except while at work due to UPS's rule about knives and the fact that the kids at the front door search us.
i'm a real weirdo and sleep in my clothes and the cqc-14 is clipped to me then
also.after carrying a knife with the WAVE feature for so long i dont like to carry anything else,i love it.i never liked the chisel grind on the edge so i hit it with the belt sander and gave it a conventional V ground edge.the blade is a V grind also.it came out perfect.you would think it was factory.



when in the woods i like a little more blade so i either carry this ZT301 or a TOPS Thunderhawke frame-lock which is made in italy by FOX out of n690co.the tops is a wonderful knife and the handle slabs are titanium and g10 like the ZT.it is ultra light and super sturdy...i mean super.
