I like dogs better than most people.

Well im pretty sure she is done. I just seen the after birth pouch thing and she ate it yuck! But i know that will provide much needed vitamins to her milk.

Im gonna look for my camra and take some pics once she is done cleaning up the last pup.

OMG another one just born. This one was a bit scary when it came the skin around it was still closed with alot of fluid in there. all the fluid built up around its head and noise. I had to hurry and cut the skin with scissors cause i was afraid it would drown it was gasping for air. I made it just in time. This one came out a really light gray.

Just when i thought all the exceitment was over. Lets see if more come. that brings the count to 5 healthy pups.

I hope this dosent turn into a modern day 101 dalmations hahahah.

This is a picture of my DACHSHUND / CHIHUAHUA mix!!!

He is with his old brother Buddy the Rott. Buddy passed at home suddenly last April of 2007,still missed daily by his loved ones.

Mike is the mix breed.He is a hoot! He has all his Dads markings,dad was a purebred Black and Tan Dachshund. And his Mom was a Black and tan Chihuahua.

Why is it those breeds always seem to intermingle? I know people here in Delavan at the Pet Smart store who have the same mix and are for sure NO relation to our line at all. Mike was the only one who was long legged out of the litter. The 6 others all had hot dog bodies and legs. Mike had the Chihuahua tall spindly legs. he rules!

He licks my feet and toes EVERY night before he can sleep. He crawls under the covers and gets jiggy with it.
I counted 783 licks one night. Not uncommon for him to top 500 licks a night before he is tired enough to relax and sleep.
