The Dogfather is a knife you simply cannot go wrong with. I don't know of anything that will challenge it in the toughness and chopping performance per $.

that's the yard's best knife and it'll be tough to beat. LE Khukri would do it, though.

I used my DFLE yesterday while Blackberry picking for the first time this year and it did every thing I needed it to do without flaw or complaint, simple awesome knife, and the DFCG is just as good, just slightly heavier! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I hear good things about the Battle Rat, but I know the DF is a great chopper. I think you would have been pleased with either one. Congrats on getting a DF.
