Whidbey NAS is one of many D of D installations here in Washington. Don't let our latte-sipping, tree-hugging reputation fool you; we do our part. Ask Ressam.
A friend and I were on leave. He lived in Redwood City. We were heading to the war, so I spent part of the "Summer of Love" with the hippies at Haight-Ashbury and Golden gate park. Then I went to the orient and met interesting and exciting people. And killed them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
I know it has been taken over by leftists and all, but I thought San Francisco was a beautiful city. Redwood City was nice, too. Unless you count the Air Force base in Oakland, that's as far up the Pacific coast I got. Did see Mt. McKinley in Alaska on the trip home. I'd love to see Oregon, Washington, and BC.
