Went for a little walk with my Bird Dog on Friday; here are a few pics for you to enjoy. These were taken in the east side of the Olympic Mountains, in Washington state. Sorry, no one's survival was at stake but I hope you enjoy. Here's a section of trail: Rhodies (our state flower) were everywhere, my two best pics of them: Some trail-side greenery: Some other flowers: Here's the Bird Dog: This a great knife!

Interesting trail. I think the Pacific NW is the prettiest area I have ever seen, but I've only seen it in pictures. Did make it to San Francisco in '67. My parents were from Tennessee, which is a beautiful State, but they were most impressed with Washington when my Dad was at Whidby? Island in the Navy. Thanks for the pictures.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I'd have to agree, HD, I've been all over but I still love it here at home. I just got this whole "camera thing" figured out and I hope to share more views of the area.
Here's something odd about where I live: I'm less than 100 miles from a temperate rain-forest, but we only get about 11" of rain per year. Rain shadow, baby, gotta love it. But only in my town, the native translation of which is "blue hole in the sky." The rest of western Washington only gets rain, rain, and more rain.
SF in '67, eh? But you were probably in the service and didn't have much fun.
Whidbey NAS is one of many D of D installations here in Washington. Don't let our latte-sipping, tree-hugging reputation fool you; we do our part. Ask Ressam.

Nice pictures Johnson!
I love my Bird Dog too.
I find I use it daily for everything like cutting sandwiches to picking bugs out of corners.
I wash mine many times a day!
Thanks for sharing!
Peace.
