Those were the good old days onthe PS (did you beat ruby and emerald weapon?) But there was no scrapyard back then, I don't think there was even a swamp. I do own a quality katana as i have trained in Iaido formally, and would'nt mind seeing at least a wakazashi(shoto) sized blade from the yard. I think the average user here though thinks more of these knives as tools rather than weapons myself included. If Scrapyard makes one it will definitely be tough as he@# and probably very affordable. I wish you and your men luck in your quest good sir. LONG LIVE SEPHIROTH!!!

You wouldn't believe how fun using a tough sword like the AK/Ruck is until you try it. It's a blast to use and can be pretty practical in some situations.

I'll bet a sword from Scrapyard could take down a tree pretty quick and not even need re-sharpening.

If Dan won't make a sword i would suggest the Cheness 9260 through hardened shirasaya katana. I have one made into a custom and they are tough enough to chop up cement and are about 200$. I would love a kukuri. Rosarms has some nice ones on the way. The handle is brown micarta and the steel is a Russian super stainless like BG-42 with some titanium. The fit and finish is fantastic on the Rosarms knives I have. I had this knife (The Fox2) but with the stacked leather handles rather than the birchbark in the photo. I wonder why no Scrapsword? Probably they are to hard to make and to expensive.

I think that Dan is just trying to stay away from that ,as HornDog put it"Mall ninja " image. no offense meant, theres just a fine line inthe public's eye between serious sword users and some goofy kid who accidentally chops his toe off. I don't know how many times I have met people saying Oh yeah I train in swordsmanship, and when they show you the sword they use its some dragon handled ,crazy colored "katana" with the batwing guard they got at a flea-market for $19.99. It doesn't mean they're idiots it's just they have not recieved proper instruction and the only source of knowledge they have on the subjectis Inuyasha.Again please don't take offense to this post I love swords and training with them.

I have a RosArms Stalker, it's a beautiful knive, but I'm afraid to use it. A big 360 degree turn form a Bussekin blade.

All right you bunch of demented mall ninjas! No sword. Dan said so. So, any of you kooks want a kookri? Hey guys, y'all know I'm only kidding. Don't you? After we get a sword, maybe we could start a khurki club. Good. Magnum, Ted, and I will start that one. I'm too fat, old, and slow to be a mall ninja!
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Ohh man that made me laugh real hard Meatcutter. Yea i remember my friend bought some ninja type swords at a gas station for like 50 bucks for the set of 3. I remember looking at them and just wanted to laugh. The blades where kinda bent , the handles were really lose , and the blades had like chocolate stains on them.
One night he got really high and desided he wanted to test his new swords on one of his carport steel polls. Guess who lost? Yea the poll won. He ended up breakng the blade in half and bent another sword. He was soo pist.
Reminded me of that vid on youtube of that guy on QVC who sells all those knives and swords made of 440 stainless. He is swinging a sword around and hits the end of a table , snaps the blade and the point goes right into his forearm and hits a vein. Wow that was crazy i thought the was gonna bleed to death there was alot of blood.
