I would be all over a Scrap Yard Bolo. I have Bolos from Cold Steel, Tramontina, Clyde Cutlery, and Condor.

hey, does the tram fit the cs bolo sheath?

Nope, it doesn't. The one thing that most of these style blades have in common is that a good sheath costs more than the knife itself...LOL

Can I join?

I've got some ideas on my head. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

(yep, imagine a peacock fan of bolos protruding from my head. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> )

Sure, Sharp. Just raise a large knife (DF, FBM) in your right hand and say,"Oh Big DOG, bring us a BOLO!"

Oh Big DOG, bring us a BOLO!

Let it descend from a bright light onto thy hands of steel!

I'd actually prepay for 3 right now for any Scrapyard blade-to-be-named-later above 12". If Dan would do a pre-order because of a less ordinary run, he can consider the first 3 already sold.

You're the bolo man, falcon! Now all we have to do is persuade the Big Dog to make one. Surely the creator of the Dog Father could make the ultimate bolo.

A re-curved blade really increases the chopping and slicing effectiveness,I notice it with my Yard Hook.

Definitely Dan could make one, I think the two hottest survival knives in the world are bolos and Kukri knifes that are used world wide. I have both but prefer the bolo hands down for me. If Dan was to make either or both of these knives, I think they would be sold out in less than one minute. I would buy either but the love is in the bolo. I had been looking at this guys video with 5160 leaf spring steel, it reminded of the bolos at the old school. I was wondering how hard it would be to make another one.

Hmmm... odd... I though this was true as well until HD did a YH and CT test.

The CT took the cake even though they are virtually almost the same knife just that the YH has a recurve.
