Then I might as well give you mine and have myself a brand new one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

That way you won't need to get anymore and that means one less buyer of Busse Kin Knives. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

But seriously... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Pictures speak louder than words.

This Brend is near perfect ,love the handle and the lines flow.

Anders Hogstrom is my favourite custom maker by a long shot. His work is unlike anyones and seems more suited to a museum

[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]
This is the one I want though.
[Linked Image from img1.putfile.com]

Another top maker in almost the same class is Johnson.
[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]

I have one of Kirby's knives but I like this Inferno even more. Also he is from Saskatchewan as well.
[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]
The fit and finish and close tolerances on his folders is unbelievable.
I know the owner of this one but he won't sell it to me.
[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]

This Winkler comp bowie is one of the few customs designed for pure performance and it looks great because of it.
[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]
I have a Browning Comp bowie on the way but it is not quite the same.
[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]

I also like antiques. A friend of mine bought this beautiful little sticker.
It would conceal rather well for a 100 year old knife.

They even had multitools back in the day.

This is a very old Scot knife called a "Ballok" dagger. Can you guess why?

Of all the knives I posted so far this is my favourite. It is a genuine Price bowie.

This one is scary. It is a 17th century french satanic ritual dagger.

My good buddy Rooikat has a knife by Swampfox. These are not old but they are done in a very authentic style. here is one I rather like.

This would make a rather nice companion piece by the same maker.

Speaking of companion pieces and lest we forget this is a Bussekin forum here is a sweet looking pair.

I have always liked the Desert Jack AND I have one on the way that will end up looking like this.

I like to end on a high note. Here is a real standout ,the epitome of all Busse knives the original SHSH.

I was disapointed that the ASH was not an exact copy of this with it's neat lines and especially the holy tearer.

One that has a full flat grind like the DFLE not sure what the model would be.

Unsub, That's what I call a list!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was lucky enough to get to play with a Holy Tearer for a few minutes at the last Knob event. Very interesting piece. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I'd love to own a SHSH and a Holy Tearer myself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I like the FBMLE but I think a standard FBM? would do just fine.

Thanks guys ,It sure says something that Busse knives are right at home with some of the greatest customs of all time. Not bad for a made in the USA production knife.

I may take a stab at making a holy tearer type of guard for my SH-E although I can never attach it as knuckle knives are illegal in Canada. The HT it's self would be illegal because knives that come straight out your fist like push knives are obviously so evil and a menace to society that they are banned but because of the Inuit using traditional ulus the Holy Tearer which is an Ulu type knife is specifically exempt.

The early SHSH in that photo looks a lot thinner and lighter than the ASH doesn't it? One knife I want but don't have a good photo of is the FSH which is the epitome of the modern Busse's although the Battle Mistress's have a pretty good claim as well.

Well the wish list is constantly changing but here it is as it stands today"
1-BRKT Bravo II (I have already placed my pre order so this one is on it's way
2-BRKT Big Sky Camp (I have one on hold, but this will be the second one I get
3-FFBM right now this is a pipe dream, someday I will own one but it is too expensive
4-Swamprat Rat Mastiff (either the old design or the new one yet to hit the store) when that comes out I will own one.
5-Scrapyard S7 ( this only currently lives in our imagination, hopefully someday it will become reality
6-Ranger knives 8 inch Afghan (currently ordered and will be in my hands soon)
7-BRKT Glen Eagle Ax (this is just so appealing, I have wanted a hatchet for sometime and this thing is a beast, and it is pretty!!!!
8-Rat Cutlery RC5 Sere (I will own one when they are released
9-Swamp Rat HRLM (I love this blade and wish they would re release it, I don't want to pay exchange prices for it but she sure is a cool looking knife
