We have really messed it up with our off topic ramblings.

No problem I was taking a 4.20 break anyway. Also since I am terrible at getting distracted by shiny things and going off topic it seems fair. In my town 4.20 is considered worse than coffee but not as bad as beer.

That was a great convex edge Vic. I love the mag handled, thin ASH1 with a thin convex edge. I have been playing with that wicked HornDog edged K-BAR so I can imagine how razor sharp that ASH is.

I was all excited when I saw this thread had finally got a second page.
Instead it was "adults reverting to teens death chat"<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Unsub the 420 reference has buffaloed most of the crowd. Do you think its an age issue or a morality issue?

Ignorance/apathy by the average person is the problem. Did you know the govt encouraged farmers to grow it in WWII to produce hemp needed for the war effort? See “Hemp for Victory” (prob on YouTube) a video made by the govt during WWII. Legal for thousands of years until the beginning of the 1900’s. Who loses money by its legalization?

Big oil companies – Hemp oil could save us from foreign oil dependence

Drug Companies – It benefits a myriad of ailments which drug companies make billions on

Textile industry – Tons of chemicals are needed as pesticides for cotton, hemp needs none.

Tobacco/alcohol producers – A non-lethal, non addictive relaxant could cost them a huge percentage of market share

And many other companies would lose billions. Most of what you’ve been told are lies by people with something to gain.

Hemp is a great source of Omega 3, 6, and 9 oils.

Did you know George Washington grew it on the White House lawn?

"What was done with the seed saved from the India Hemp last summer? It ought, all of it, to have been sewn again; that not only a stock of seed sufficient for my own purposes might have been raised, but to have disseminated the seed to others; as it is more valuable than the common Hemp."
George Washington
Writings of Washington, Vol. 35, pg. 72

"May 12-13: Sowed Hemp at Muddy hole by Swamp. August 7: Began to separate the Male from the Female at Do - rather too late."
George Washington
Diary

"Prohibition...goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."
Abraham Lincoln,
December 1840

Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food."
The Bible
Genesis 1:29

"Estimates suggest that from 20 to 50 million Americans routinely, albeit illegally, smoke marijuana without the benefit of direct medical supervision. Yet, despite this long history of use and the extraordinarily high numbers of social smokers, there are simply no credible reports to suggest that consuming marijuana has caused a single death. By contrast, aspirin, a commonly used, over-the-counter medicine, causes hundreds of deaths each year."
