I am a huge fan of choppers, but this one looks to be too heavy. Even the FFBM is too heavy to carry. I'm waiting on a SY golok or bolo. As a pure chopping tool, I'm sure the new beast will be fine, but I'll pass on this one. The Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri weighs 22 oz. That is as heavy as I want a belt knife. But the new NFBM is a beauty.

vic, I doubt it will be any heavier than an ffbm, being it's only 1/4" thick.
idk though, just a thought.

looks nice, specially the rounded edges but not my type of knife, far too big. if you want to chop down trees then get a chain saw, seems to be more of a collector piece
