Congrats on the chopweiler. I've never handled one before, and I've always wondered if the palm hump is uncomfortable. I do like the muddy!

Congrats. Ya know, I still haven't used my RW or CW yet. I've had them for months. Every time I need a chopper, I go for the DFLE.

Congrats on a great score! I always felt that the Camp Tramp should have had a point like your Chopweiler. I handled one at Blade, and the C/W felt just great. Still sorry for not getting one then!

I love the Chopweiler. It was my second Busse-kin purchase. I'll be honest, I haven't been out and beaten on it but I love the feeling of it. So much so that I've been looking for the Muddy or the Sage to add...

Most folks really like those handles, but they didn't feel quite right to me. I didn't care for the way that the top of the handle descends as it approaches the blade. I prefer a straight top handle, and can tolerate some swell in the middle, but just couldn't make myself like that style where the widest part of the handle is at the back.
Still, it looks good; I have several muddies and like that color combination.

Everybody's hand size and shape and gripping style is ever so slightly different. I wonder how many copies the Busse family could sell if they sold bare blades for the custom handle makers.

Very nice; now you just need to get it some pants and a nice lanyard. Rainwalker is probably the #1 choice among most in the Yard for sheaths -- he does great work. I recently bought a Damascus Nessmuk made by Ariel Salaverria. One of the features that sold me was a Damascus beaded leather lanyard that came with it. I checked and, while they aren't currently available, he makes Damascus and Mokume beads as jewelry, so I got on the list to buy a few lanyards from his next run. Hopefully, he won't mind me linking to one of his pictures: ![[Linked Image from aescustomknives.com]](http://aescustomknives.com/images16/metalbeads10.jpg)

I might just tie a piece of paracord on it though, we'll see. Definitely Jeff will do some pants for it.
