Had the deadline been more vague this time around I'd be in agreement. As it is, I find this disappointing.

pink learns quick and this squabble between the faithful and the starving has gotten old. Dan's just a man who makes a good knife and he's still learning how to run this business. No one's life is on the line so no worship or crusades are necessary.

This is my first time for a release, so I was a little anxious for the word from Dan, so I kinda stayed up hoping to be the first to hear the news and post concerning it. It didn't happen; was I disappointed, well yes. Am I blaming Dan? In no way whatsoever.

I agree that Dan is just a man, trying to make a living at a business he's still organizing and learning to run. I don't hold anything against him.

yeah,without mentioning names i have noticed a few old schoolers with big post numbers are MIA.

and while i dont know why or specifics i think for some its more of a forum thing than a scrapyard knife thing.

a forum is an ever evolving being with new names coming all the time and old ones leaving.this is not the same forum it was 1 year ago and is not the same forum it will be a year from now.

dont forget too,people move on.interests and hobbies change,family and work responsibilities change and financial situation fluctuate.

I like Scrap Yard knives. I like the forum here even better. People do move on. That's the nature of things. But I, for one, have not given up on this forum. I consider the old members and the new ones to be my friends. Besides, I am anxious to see the new models. And they WILL come.

All joking aside the Yard has never let us down. Dan always gives us the best value for the price out their. It may be along time between releases however, all the releases have been worth the wait.
