LOL, I just came across this disclaimer on a software site. It sounds perfect for Scrapyard.

When we have something to say about other products, it will be posted, and not a moment before then. Asking us about ETAs just ends up wasting both of our time. Apologies for taking such a harsh stance, but the only thing we would tell you is "it'll be done when it's done" and we're trying to prevent a repeat of the tens of thousands of comments/emails we've received asking for an ETA. Any kind of timeframe or ETA we could possibly give will be wrong and users get very disappointed when ETAs are missed. That's the nature of ETAs, they are always wrong. And due to the fact we won't release something before we feel it is ready, any ETA is even more likely to be missed.

I believe so, and hopefully some more to come.

Keep future offerings priced the way they are. Lower would be better, of course .

Since SY offerings are so sparce and in smaller knives I prefer the Swamp Rats, Busses, and Bark Rivers, I am selling off all my scrappers soon, except for the DFLE. I like Res C on choppers. I like this forum the best, but all this mystery and BS is ridiculous. There is still no communication with the customers. It's my money and I choose to spend it elsewhere.

Oh, come on Vic - hang in there just a little bit longer. We are SURE to see something before Blade West - a month away!! However, I DO understand your feelings - seems like the Dogs deserve the same respect that we show the Company!!!

I have had enough, Tom. Scrappers are good knives, but why should I continue to purchase from SYKCO? I can get answers to my queries from Bark River, RAT Cutlery, and even Ranger. They will actually communicate with their customers and even give me a general time frame of when to expect their models that I am interested in. While the other two Bussie companies don't communicate much better than SY, they at least have had some models for sale in thier stores. In smaller blades, I like the micarta handles fine and the steel is good. Dan said he would clue us in by the end of last week. Apparently we, the customers, are not worthy of any information about coming models or time frames. If we are not worth taking five minutes of his time to let us know what is coming, I'll buy from somebody who actually reponds to his customers.

Believe me Vic - I understand where you're coming from! I have to admit that I am disappointed that we got a Customer Service person, but we are STILL left in the dark. I believe she is following Dan's instructions, so the frustration is with both parties. It is getting more and more difficult to defend ScrapYard's policies when the loyal customers are treated this way.

Come on Dan - the Dogs DESERVE better!!!

Since I'm new to this forum and to knife culture in general I have deferred my feelings and am glad as hell that Horn Dog has spoken up. Since last week when I signed on for the first time and Dan promised to have an update by the end of the week, I've been chasing my tail until I can't chase no more! There's nothing else to do but turn this forum off, apparently.

If we can't get product then give us some information/feedback!

I hear ya HD. That's why I picked up the Custom HC. Will be buying a RC-4 OD/Orange, have a SARSquatch being held for me (my first big Busse). We do deserve better than this.
