I have seen some good sized blades in 154CM. Bark River even did a bowie in it, and those knives are not known to be fragile. And we have all seen Dan's posted pics of just how far you can bend the Busse-treated version, not to mention the edge toughness. Personally, I'd buy a Stainless Scrapper 6 or Ratmandu in a minute. I live on the coast, so corrosion resistance is a plus for me. How do you dogs feel?

OK, looks like I messed up the start time. I tried to edit it, but couldn't figure it out, so we have an hour to think about it. The regular pollster is on vacation.

Vic - I would JUMP at the chance to get a large blade in Dan's version of 154CM! I have Faith in the Busse heat treat and quality!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

So would I, Tom. A Street Scapper 4 or Scrapper 7 in stainless would be sweet.

Scrapper 7 in 154CM would be excellent. I'd take 2.

At one time Jerry Busse produced some sweet chefs knives. What about an 8 inch chef knife for the wannabe gourmet in all of us? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

A Scrapper kitchen knife would be amazing! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
Even some regular hunting style knives would be much appreciated. Some of my friends have children who are ready for their first hunter & stainless would remove the rust concern.

That's a great idea Chris, and one that tyger75 shares with you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Chris You would think that a knife collector like me would have a nice set of kitchen knives, but I don't. I have a hodge podge of various brands. I can just see getting a good set of kitchen knives with mudder handles and 154Cm steel. After all, I probably use those a lot more than my outdoor knives.

something like the discontinued DOGSKINNER,RATHUNTER or RATTAIL from swamprat would be great for a 154cm skinner.
