That is a great collection! Maybe you will be able to replace your Scrapper 6's.

Andy,
I live on the Gulf coast and for years I have been using Corrosion X. Rods, reels, knives, guns, anything that will corrode or rust. Works for me.

Cool. That's the first I've heard of this stuff. Have you compared it to the Tuf-cloth yet? I would be very interested in seeing a test.

I have used mineral oil and RenWax, but I want to try something new. I have heard good things about the Sentry Solutions products so post your experiences when you get that Tuf-cloth Andy.

Is there really any such a thing as "enough" knives?

No. You ALWAYS need just one more.

Really? Just one? My SHORT list of knives I have to get because I can't live without them currently has about 15.

I like that there so many guys on this forum who actually use their knives. You all seem to really push your blades into service pretty often. That's cool ,if all we did was keep them in a safe and rave about the quality without really testing the blades we could just buy pretty knives of low quality and it would never matter.Nice collection Andy, how do you decide which one to take out into the bush with you?

I’ve been keeping an eye out for that, but haven’t seen it around here so far.

Hmmm, I surprised no one mentioned it, Vegetable oil. I use this on my older kitchen knives that aren't stainless, and as yet, I haven't seen any rust or increase in the patina on the blade. Very food safe! LOL!

I know veggie oil can go rancid, but I’ve heard olive oil doesn’t. I thought of it, but again, messy and dust sticks to it.

I don’t have a pic of ALL of them. I always forget some stashed somewhere. Here’s some pics of ones I’ve taken in the past that are already in my photobucket account:

A lot of my fixed blades. I also have a Mora and Fiskars Pukko that I know isn’t in these, prob some other fixed blades too somewhere.

Some Craftsman multi-tools – I have 2-3 of each model shown, also some Leatherman’s not shown.

And here’s a pic of my brother’s early Busse apprentice knife. Unfortunately he sold it several years ago. He bought it from the Busse table, and it came with the sheath and pliers.

I need to take some more pics of some knives not shown. I also have a bunch of good kitchen knives by Victorinox, Case, Chicago Cutlery, Henckels, etc.

Well, I don’t get to the woods much, but if I’m doing yard work/fire making, my fav combo is the DFLE and DM. I use the DFLE for the big stuff, and the DM for splitting smaller stuff. I’ve only used my CT a couple times, and I’ve owned my RW & CW for months, and still haven’t used them yet! The smaller ones are nice to give me variety for EDC choices. It’s nice to have so many nice models to choose from.
