Looks like a nice long hike. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Reminds me of one my brother and I did in TX climbing a butte.

Mac - there was a good mile and a half that was not quad passable. Then there is the peak trek.

A challenge eh. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well it looks like fun even on foot.
Your lucky, its pretty much flat as a pancake here in ohio.

Depends on the latitude doesn't it?

Not sure how it really works, but here in Utah tree line is around 10,000. We have lakes at 10,000. In the Uinta's and Wasatch mountain range, tree line is about 10,000.

you live in an extremely beautiful area cold one.i wish i lived somewhere like that.maybe when i retire at 49...{TEAMSTERS PENSION}...i would think the ONLY drawback of living up their is the extra long travel time to the BLADE SHOW...lol.i remember you told me how long it was but i forget.made me feel lucky to only be a yankee.

the highest mountain in new york is in the adirondaks and is only 5,300.

did you see any good wildlife??

what do you guys have out their for wildlife anyways??

It is pretty flat here to although a ways south it is REALLY flat. In Saskatoon they made a ski hill out of the old garbage dump. It is called Blackstrap and you can see it for hours before you actually get to it.

When I first moved away from Saskatchewan it was to whistler BC right in the mountains and I kept falling down and rolling down hills partly because I was drinking but mostly because i had no idea how to walk on a hill.

Great photos ,I especially like the ones of Tikka. It must be a great life for a dog.

A nice light dirtbike can get you pretty much anywhere you can walk if you are good.

Beautiful! If I wasn't so busy with work or school, I'd be doing a lot more hiking; there are a lot of great places with an hour from my house.

Man that author who wrote the book was way off..

Tikka's a beautiful dog. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
