Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I signed up a little while ago, but haven't posted. Just been checking things out. Proud owner of a Yard Hook. Need to find a sheath for it, however.

Welcome to the Yard Coley! Definitely try to grab a MudPuppy if you can, they are awesome little blades.

You need to check out Rainwalker's work on the sheaths. He is a fellow member here on the boards and is as good as they get as far as a sheath maker and all around good guy goes. He posted eight spots below your original one in this thread. Check out his work, I can't recommend him enough.

Welcome to the Yard.

I started out writing "Welcome to the Pard." Oops.

I don't know how you feel about large cats, so welcome to the Yard.

Well, hopefully he likes big cats, cause they make a good beer! [Linked Image from justbeer.files.wordpress.com]
Probably the best beer I've ever drank outside of Canada, other than Guinness of course! LOL!

Nothing matches Guinness. It's the Holy Grail of home brewers around the world. Nobody has ever reproduced it. Fortunately you don't have to make it to drink it.

I like picking up a 6 of Guinness here and there; the bottle not the cans. I wish Tiger was available in Canada, it's really good. So far, I've only been able to find it in Asia, and larger touristy areas in Europe.

In Canada, I usually drink Moosehead, especially since my dads' brother works at the refinery! When I came home to see the family after my tour, I arrived at my parents' house at roughly 11 p.m.

Less than 20 minutes later, my uncle was there, with 7 flats of beer in the back of his truck! He's allowed 2 cases of beer a month, and he'd been putting them aside the entire time I was gone, saving them up for my "return home party". Me, my dad, and his brother, were sitting around chatting, sloshed, until 3 in the morning.

He had fourteen cases of 24 put aside, I was home for about two weeks, and we had a case and a half left at the end of it! One thing you can say about us east coasters, we're definitely in touch with our Irish heritage! LOL!
