Are you guys nuts this is the best knife in a LONG time. I love the 154 for small sharp knives and this one could end up being a classic like the SS4 or the DFLE.

I am not a huge fan of S7 except in big choppers like the DFLE or in a entry tool like the crash rat. There it is ideal but it is not by any means a do everything steel. In fact that is what is so great about it. It is like a MotoGP race bike
compared to my Honda 919. The race bike can do one thing very very good ,much better than my 919 could dream of but my 919 is capable of anything even though it does not exceed at any one. Using S7 in a knife like the BD would be like taking a race bike through the trails.

Actually the MotoGP bike looks better, sounds better, accelerates faster, corners faster, probably weighs over 100 lbs less, steers quicker, and stops faster. Other than that the 919 is a much better choice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

To your point, 154CM is a fine choice in a small game knife though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Agreed, if in doubt, just check out the post I started, titled Canadian Salmon and the BDLE. I love that little knife!
