The knife at the top is a Ratmandu, but it looks smaller than it should because of the angle of my camera shot. I still can't figure out why some can see the pic I loaded and others can't see it. Photo from my pbase account

I have both as well and I would say go with both <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
If you like to work freehand and zero edges go with the grinder .if you like to keep the angle exact and secondary edges then you will like the Apex.

No doubt...the RatManDu is a little beast of a blade. I love the balance, weight, look and feel. I go around punching holes everywhere with it! I just have to either wear gloves or develop tougher skin until I get used to that g-10.

I just turned 57 years old and the past week has been like my favorite all-time Christmas when I was a kid! A few days ago I was fixed bladeless. Now, I'm well on my way to owning some kind of arsenal. The next several days will bring either a belt sander or something like the Edge Pro Apex. Oh yeah, I need pants for these beauts!
