Come on Dave - tell us how you REALLY feel! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

maybe next time <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

wow,i forgot how much them LE's cost compared to the CG's.almost double.i'm curious about the production difference that leads to that cost difference.

i think the differences between the two are:satin finish, laser engraving, tiger micarta.

i'm not questioning their pricing,i'm just curious about how their made.how long do you guys think it takes to put a satin finish on a blade that size???

i though the CG's where very affordable given the size and the labor intensity of a full convex grind.i think most people expected them to cost more.under $500.00 is pretty good if you ask me.

Great to see they will be shipping soon. I double checked my account again today, but it wasn't charged yet. I guess I will be in the 2nd batch that are shipping.

personally i couldnt find it in my heart to fork out double the price for the LE models, in any knife. i like the CG more personally. to each his own. either way, they are all great knives and will serve you wonderfully no matter what route you decide to go <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

i cant afford it either but dont think i would even if i could, although i always love a great satin finish on INFI.

i think the attraction is more about the numbered LIMITED EDITION'ness about it and its collectability for the "safe queeners".

the tiger hide micarta is killer though too.

....."but when you get paid what i get paid its gotta be COMBAT GRADE!!!!!"

i've never owned a BUSSE LE and probably never will.i did own some SYKC LE's though, being the DFLE & DMLE.i sold the DMLE.

i wonder why swamprat doesnt do LE's.

Yeah..... but, they haven't released a satin piece of SR-101 in YEARS!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> - You'll have to show me the M6LE... I don't recall seeing that one - other than stripping my own and a few other customer stripped versions.

The Rat Hunter and Bog Dog were some others that were satin SR-101 MANY years ago.

The Safari Skinner, Dog Skinner and Bog Dog were also satin D2.

Not enough SATIN! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

.
