WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just sat down,cracked a cold one,checked on-line and noticed that my account has just been dinged for my NMFBM.i have never been so happy to be missing $481.95 from my bank account. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> good lord i cant wait to fondle that 17in of INFI..........that almost sounded wrong for a second didnt it. the HOLY GRAIL of my knife collection it shall be. .........next up????......THE BEARCUB,and whatever dans throws in the dish although i'm a little stuffed right now with the NMFBM being such a big meal but sense when has a dog turned down food?i've heard they would eat until their stomach exploded if they had unlimited supply of food in front of them.pretty much what i do with knives just except instead of my stomach exploding its my financial situation. i am so curious to see how this thing handles and feels compared next to my FFFBM.

personally i couldnt find it in my heart to fork out double the price for the LE models, in any knife. i like the CG more personally. to each his own. either way, they are all great knives and will serve you wonderfully no matter what route you decide to go <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

i cant afford it either but dont think i would even if i could,although i always love a great satin finish on INFI.
i think the attraction is more about the numbered LIMITED EDITION'ness about it and its collectability for the "safe queeners".
the tiger hide micarta is killer though too.

i've never owned a BUSSE LE and probably never will.i did own some SYKC LE's though,being the DFLE & DMLE.i sold the DMLE.
i wonder why swamprat doesnt do LE's.

You'll have to show me the M6LE... I don't recall seeing that one - other than stripping my own and a few other customer stripped versions. I realized those were custom shop M6s. I don't know if that counts or not. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> There were some with fancy handles, partially serrated, etc...

There was the Satin Battle Rat, Rat Daddy LE, Crash Rat LE, M6 LE, Hairy Carry LE, etc... for the most part there is a CG and LE version of almost every knife the yard has done and for the majority of the time you have the option of CG or LE when busse does a knife. so while swamprat has done some LE's they dont do like everyone else or we'd have at least one LE between the HRLM,RMD,CW or SW.and to me there is a difference between custom shop and LE.which brings up another question....................... ..........CUSTOM SHOP SCRAPYARD KNIVES ???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but how cool would a LE HRLM,RMD,CW or SW be????????

I just checked again and I my CC has taken the hit. I could have afforded an LE, but would never use it. I bought 2 CGs instead; I'm not sure that I can even use a CG that was so expensive, but if I choose to do so, I'll still be able to set the other aside as a safe queen.

Heading over to a friend's place to compare the NMFBM to the FFFBM. Offhand, I don't think that even the flat grind is going to help the FFFBM take out the NMFBM in terms of desirability...
