I see that Jerry has posted Bid Farewell To The HACK Bear Cub.... Personally, they looked too small for me. I wondered if others felt differently.

Jim - I also felt that they were too small and expensive. I'm hopeful that something good comes out of the Yard soon! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I like Busses a lot, but I thought those little knives were just too expensive for what they are. Good riddance, as far as I'm concerned, but to each his own. Now lets see some new BIG knives from Scrap Yard!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I wonder if Scrapyard would consider making another axe, myself. Or for those who demand the absolute biggest cutters and choppers, a bardiche... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

(that last was a joke)

An excellent choice for those who desire to open carry a fixed blade in the City of Los Angeles.

Never thought about that, adamlau. Here in Georgia, I can legally walk down the street with a 12" bowie on my hip (except in my local park), as long as it is not concealed. But a 3" pocket knife (2" in a school zone) is technically a "concealed weapon". It is one of those stupid laws most folks ignore.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Like already stated: I agree: TOO small and TOO expensive.

.... and another choil and Talon Hole combination that I just don't understand. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

I have WAY better tools for cleaning my fingernails and at WAY better prices. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I don't have ANY justification to pay those prices for knives that small and then for "PRACTICE" grind blade - "HACKS".... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I don't see much justification for INFI in a knife that size either. I know INFI is "Good" in a knife that size. I just don't see any need to pay that price for a knife that size (and a "HACK" version at those prices! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

To each their own.

Again, to each their own. I see NO value in that knife that size that I can EASILY surpass in function with MANY good folder options at WAY cheaper prices. 2.5 finger handles don't have any justification for a fixed blade for me.

On a better note, there appears to be an indication that Jerry might be bringing back the [color:"yellow"]SFNO[/color] !!! ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

I never scored one. But, I have been interested (if the price is right).

Uhhh..... Now I just need LOTS more money. I am still trying to catch up on bills. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

.

JYD #39 I prefer "SATIN" blades!!!

I would also consider a SFNO.

Will it be a full-sized SNFO, or a cub-scaled one?

A tiger hide SNFO would help curb my cravings for a while.

Looks like there's going to be a "Hack Bear Claw", a monster version of the Cub.
