I have not yet seen the movie, but I do have a modest collection from Museum Replicas. If I see the movie, I'll start buying Greek stuff instead of Viking stuff. Is there no cure for my compulsive addiction to steel?

you'll want a falcata or kopis sword but i think the spartans had their own sword more like a broad gadius. course the kopis is way cooler.

I can't wait to see the movie. I am a big comic book and Frank Miller fan.
I even put off buying the hardcover 300 so it would not ruin the movie although I am enough of a history buff to know how it ends.

I saw the movie. It was alright! I guess my problem was that I knew too much about the Battle of Thermopylae, and never read the graphic novel. It was entertaining and better than sitting through 'Amazing Grace' with my wife.

I saw the movie and was not that impressed. The stupid queen subplot was put in to appeal to women under 25 and it really did not fit with the rest of the movie.
It also did not suit a greenscreen movie as it should have had huge battle scenes with millions of persians, instead it seemed like a play with 10 characters.
It really showed that they made it on a tight budget. It was also a little to homoerotic for my taste.

I've seen the trailer of that movie when I went to watch Smokin Aces 4 weeks ago... And wanna see it... but [censored], it'd be awhile till they release it here in AUS. You Americans are so lucky~
