Thanks for going with the non-gaanza style offerings in the future. I have missed out on some great knives due to not being near my PC at the right time. I look forward to growing my Scrapyard collection in the future. My poor DMCG and Yard Hook are gettin lonely.

I think we should all just calm down and give the new business plan a chance to work. I have a feeling that we will all be happy with the changes!

+1. I don't expect Dog Bowls to end any more than I expect Busse ganzaas to end. Pre-sales and Dog Bowls both have their place.

I whole-heartedly believe this as well.

Jim,

How did that comment apply to you? If that comment doesn't apply to you, why are you being defensive about it?

What I don't understand Jim is why you would have a problem with others being able to get the knives with this new system.
I'm not objecting to others being able to buy knives. What I'm objecting to is people making accusatory remarks about people who buy more than one or two knives at a time. That's me: I bought 4 DMCGs, 4 DMLEs, 3 YKCGs, 3 YKLEs, and 11 DCDMs; I've purchased 6 S6s (2 black sterile, 2 tan, and 2 black with logos) and if there are more at Knob Creek, I'll probably buy them too. I have 3 SS4s (all purchased in the secondary market) and 5 MOD7s (I paid after-market for 4 of them) -- at last count, I had a total of 49 Scrap Yard knives. I think of collecting that many as an accomplishment, and I tend to become offended when somebody tells me I should be ashamed of having more than my "fair share" instead.

I'm one of those 'quick draws' myself, having scored one each of the two Dog Bowls that I jumped on. My heartburn is directed to the old business plan, not to those who took advantage of it.

The endorphin rush at those two dog bowls can't be beat.

I just want more opportunity to buy quality users without having to go slopping everyday in the secondary market.

I don't want to deny anyone their swag.

Again, I'm new in this game, and that's the way I see it.

Slings and arrows of outrageous fortune…

Much ado about nothing…

What a literary gang of knife jocks.
