I am a little disappointed that our new Customer Service person is not addressing our question of Blade West offerings!

I believe that the Busse group is normally represented there, with products from all three companies. It does not neccessarily mean that Jerry, Jennifer, or Dan will be there - just a representative selling Busse products.

Well, idahoskunk is there, he posted some pics, but did not see any Scrap Yard or Swamp Rat blades.

idahoskunk is a stark supporter and advocate of BUSSE COMBAT. many of the lads over on the Busse Combat forum on BF are hard-line HOGS and dont get all excited about Dogs like we do here on the Yard, and thats fine. I am PERFECTLY happy with my RES-C handles and SR77 blades. many from that group claim that buying a SY knife is $100-$180 they could spend towards another Busse... OK, fine with me again. I will gladly buy the Dogs these guys dont.

All I am saying is this... I think that SY gets the shaft amongst the other Busse-kin crews. When Busse Combat is around, SY is on the back burner by a long shot in terms of publicity. I think SY knives are every bit as good and valuable as Busse IMO. I love Busse and SY both but SY is the best company on the market, IMO. On all accounts... CS, quality products, etc.

As for why Renee isnt answering a ? you might have asked... I think its not that she is purposely not answering, she is busy working on the NEW business plan and getting us more knives. Dan and Company are doing what they perceive as is best for the company. Yes, it is a CHANGE. A change that they perceive as a better move for their company and I back them ten-fold.

I am a little late on this thread but thought I would add my .02 anyway.

I am happy to see more of the business plan. I was not sure if Renee was an additional employee or a replacement employee. It is good to know she is an addition. I also like the new plan. By getting pre-orders, it should allow for less risk for ScrapYard and allow them to keep or improve the price to performance ratio I love. Adding a headcount costs money and I am hoping that they are planning to release more volume to help pay for the cost... Good for all around.

Dan, I love to the new plan and am glad you shared it with us. Best of luck with the new model. I will be helping support it
