Im hoping so. The Masters degree will really start to work for me once I make MAJ. Because a requirement to make Liet. Col. is to have a Master's degree and I am getting mine now in ROTC, while everyone else is getting their Bachelors. Congrats soon to be 2nd LT. Just remember that Armor is the best and to listen and learn from your NCO's. I can't count how many LT's fresh of the buss I have had and seen that refuse to listen to NCO's that have "been there and done that".

you had asked once if the NMFBM was practical to take in the field and after my experience with it this weekend my answer would be that it isnt,but what 17in knife is.

it would be practical though to start doing some of our own beheading's to give them muslim extremists a taste of there own demonic medicine.after seeing how fast this can go through a 6in tree i dont think a terrorsits head will cause much trouble.just a thought.

It is a very scary thing when you actually realize that skilled Sergeants and enlisted men are going to do exactly what you tell them and some of them will be older and more experienced than you are. Also that you are responsible for those Men.
Now I don't know you that well but from what I have seen you are going to do great. Being an officer in the US army is like nothing else in the world except maybe being a Roman Legionnaire at the height of their Empire or a British Officer at the height of theirs.

Knowing what your like and how hard you worked for this makes me feel better about the other US officers.

Congrats again ,you are going to make a hell of an officer!
