I like it. If the price is right, I'll get one.

By the way, my choice would be desert tan without the logo. With due respect to Mike for a very high quality logo: I dislike the logo. I'm a happy-go-lucky nature boy who has some use for cutlery tools when I play outside; I find the angry, fang baring, snarling dog logo not at all to my taste.

I like the logo better than Busse COMBAT etched on my blade. It makes it hard to explain to the nice officer that it's a camping tool, not a weapon when it says combat right on the blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

LOL and a very good point. Kind of hard to deliver that message with strait face

Dan - the SOD is a great model! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Now, if you would tell us the prices and availability it would be even BETTER !!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

"But Dear, it's a critical part of my camping gear!" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

hahah, my dear will not be hearing about these.

I can't decide on tan or black. I know if I get one, I'll regret not getting the other. Heck, if the price is right, I may get both!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> The LE is looking really good too... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

For what its worth, The LE is just flat out "Fine" its hard to say more...The Tan is absolutely amazing in looks and is probably the coolest looking knife that we have made (in my humble opinion)... the black has that military presence pouring from it. You will also not believe the feel once you handle them...it is as if I built the knife in your hand while you waited.

oh no,now i have color options.

i want satin & tan but only need one.hell, when it comes to sharpened steel i dont really NEED anything.

i think this blows the S7 out of the water completely.i wasnt looking forward to the S7 at all but am totally in love with this design.

everyone swore up and down that they knew the S7 was next and dan really through the yard for a loop.good job dan.

this knife is sure to be a scrapyard and busse kin legend to be revered.the SFNO and any other 7in blade about to rear its head in the near future is gonna have its work cut out for it.

absolute grand slam with the knife itself, then you add 3 color scheme selections and this is legendary.

I tend to think you are right. These blades are destined to be legends. I appreciate the kind words...Thanks

Dan

Tonight, I will lock my eyelids open with duct tape and sleep in front of the computer screen. My trained hamster (Kenshiro, a.k.a. fist of death) will tap the reload button once each hour and alert me if there are signs of this fine blade for sale. Yes, Kenshiro can read English and html.

Scrap Yard staff for President, all of them.

A trained hamster...has to be a first in the Yard. How does it get along with Dogs?

Hey my moto for president could be an "economy that is based on the Performance to Price Ratio, a case of beer in every fridge, a bottle of Makers on every desk and knife on every belt. We could have one heck of a party <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
