It seems that the SOD has the same choil length so we could just subtract the Dog Father's choil length from the SOD's overall length to get a good estimate of what the SOD's cutting edge will be.

I am so torn on this knife. I can't decide if I like the LE or the black, or if I should save my money for whatever is next.

Nope, not scrapyard knives, Sr-77 don't need to like most Sr-101 knives.
