Man I love that convexed Mutt. I recently stripped my DMCG of it's blackness and will be sending it off to Bark River for the Barkie Spa Treatment. I have a Harbor Freight sander but I just don't have the skills yet to put an edge like that on it. In fact, before I stripped it, I messed up the tip on my Mutt but managed to fix it with a file. It's very dull now but I've seen what Bark River can do and have faith that it will be a fine slicer when I get it back.

Nope, not scrapyard knives, Sr-77 don't need to like most Sr-101 knives.
I thought the DFs are differentially tempered? then again i could be wrong too.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

thanks for clearing it up for me. I was a bit confused with how scapyard knives work. In either case the SOD should be hell of a knife for the price.

I am so torn on this knife. I can't decide if I like the LE or the black, or if I should save my money for whatever is next. Nope, not scrapyard knives, Sr-77 don't need to like most Sr-101 knives. Perfect example of a great Yard user!
