Money is tight for me as well. But I still have to serrate the Nuke EDC and send the NMFBM CG to Ban for some work. I have dropped all hobbies and pleasures. What? Take my wife to a dinner and a movie? Not until I get my fill of steel! Recurves are nice, but the YH just doesn't chop as I thought it would. Outside of a fighter, no recurves for me...

I usually agree with HornDog on the LE but this is a bit harder with the SOD because they are both full flat grinds unlike the Dogfather.

where did we hear this? did i miss that post?

.250 is a good thickness and the sabre grind would be sweet!

If I order two knives, would that be 1x or 2x the shipping & handling charges?

Well, a little more than I'd hoped they'd go for (My Jewish-Scottish heritage always tries to pinch the pennies <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />), but I'm still hoping to save up enough to order the LE and Tan.

So what is wrong with a full flat grind? I love a full flat grind. Put a nice little convex edge on it and you are good to go. With a full 1/4" spine thickness, the blade is plenty strong. Unless you just want a bit more weight with the saber grind.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I love a full flat grind as well but would like to add a saber grind to my collection.

with dan taking pre-orders i wonder if they window will be open for a set period of time, or until he has all the orders he thinks he can produce in a reasonable time frame. this could be the biggest selling knife of SY history.
