Fu - Howdy and Welcome to the ScrapYard! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> We're all getting pretty anxious to receive our SOD's! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> You certainly chose a great way to make an entrance. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

FuGaWee,

Welcome to the yard.
You'll find that all the hype is just people telling the plain
ordinary truth <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
The knives REALLY ARE that good!
I've been lucky to get a couple of the Bussekin knives and am
very impressed with them all.
My favorite of all of them is my Scrapper6. I use it the most.
It is my go-to knife and I feel that if my life depended on it,
my Scrapper would work in just about any situation I can think
of. Of course, I'm certain that the SOD will be of the same high
quality and will be made to the same high standards that my Scrapper
is.
I haven't had the opportunity to use a Dogfather yet, but would
like to get one someday. Then I would have a Dumpster Mutt (DMDC),
a Scrapper6, a SOD, AND a Dogfather.
Of course, I would still have my Rats and Busse's, but then they aren't
DAWG'S

Cheers
DotD (Dawn of the Dawg)

The alternator died on one of our cars over a week ago. The Wife drove it home fine but it wouldn't start the next day. I pushed it out of the garage down a hill then up hill to get it near enough to the other car to jump it. After a bit of aggravation I got it started and the Wife and I drove to a Wendy's and the [censored] thing died in the drive through lain. Some more loverly pushing... Called AAA and the guy took about 30min to actually get it jumped again. Finally able to order the alternator yesterday and it wont be in until tomorrow.

I am beginning to think I may have make a bad choice ordering a SoD. I have spent a bit of money recently on knives, all are soon not going to be able to be purchased for less then scalpers prices. With a glorious new person filling "The Office of the President Elect" I feel I probably should have purchased the .223 I have been wanting instead.

I remember push starting my old beater a long time ago. It wouldn't start on cold mornings so I would push the car, pop the clutch and wah ya! works everytime <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Hi Folks !! First time ever on a forum but have been reading all posts for quite awhile. Really enjoy the info here and the common interest in these great products !Placed my order for my first scrapyard SOD and am really pleased at this form of marketing. Been shopping Busse knives on other markets for about 2 months and not hard to see that they are in HIGH demand.Question- How many SODs are made in this batch ? Or how many new knives go out when released? Please forgive my dumb questions and bad spelling. PLUS my extensive lack of knowledge on all of this !!

Really I think none of us know how many will be made in this batch, this is all new to us here (new business plan). Everyone that ordered will get one, how many left over for the store, etc... who knows. Welcome to the yard. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

o/d1 - Howdy and Welcome to the ScrapYard! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> The number of SOD's - or any other knives - is known only by Dan Busse. You made your entrance in a great way with the SOD, as it should be a terrific knife. Welcome to the addiction! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Tom

Thanks for the greetings !! Addiction is right- I am constantly looking and enjoying it more every day.I looked all over the secondary market and it seems the prices soar after they stop release !! Scrapyard is VERY reasonable for QUALITY products. How many different knives have been released this way (models) ? Eventually I would like to own one of each. Now I am wondering if I should have ordered more SODs. I will most likely get mine much after you guys as I just got my order in. This is OK as I can hear you guys rave and sit back and wait. Only makes it nicer when I receive mine-Thanks !
