I hope that some will be at Knob Creek. As far as I'm concerned, the problem with numbered LEs is that I want a specific # (I've got #60 in both DMLE and BDLE, so I'd like to continue the trend). Of course, #1 is always good and #911 would be significant, but most numbers wouldn't mean a thing to me, so unless I can get some choice (by buying them OTC), I'll probably just buy CGs. So, unless I'm buying LEs to try for low #s, my best strategy would seem to be wait until after KC before placing an order.

Dammit! It won't let me make the purchase through the firewalls here on base! I have to wait another 3 hours until I get home to buy them! Arrggghhhh!

At least you'll still be able to order one three hours from now and won't have to worry about them being sold out

Bravo-2...It was not a very tough decision for me on that one. I love my Bravo-1 but the tossup between the Bravo-2 and the SOD for a 7ish inch knife...the SOD won out for me. Cannot wait for my SOD LE to arrive.

The new SOD is more of a camp knife than the Bravo-2. The Bravo is nice, though. I took it out today and did a little chopping and splitting with it. It has a nice handle and cuts very well. The SOD has a broader blade. Here are the Bravos along side the DMLE for size comparison.

I'm just glad I have some time with the cc charge on the SOD. I wanted both!

I was getting a little worried when I didn't see anything from you!

Looks great, Vic. I love my Bravo-1, that handle just feels awesome. I know Barkies can take a beating just like a Scrapper (well not *just like a Scrapper..heh) but they're so [censored] pretty, I always feel like I'm abusing mine.
A camp knife is what I was in the market for - the heft and size of the SOD seemed like just the tool I was lookin for.

I missed the release. I had to pick up my youngest daughter at school and take her to the doctor. When I got home, the Bravo was here. Then I checked the forum and saw that they were taking orders for the SOD. The SOD will become an all-time favorite Scrapper, just wait and see. I can't wait to get one and whack something with it!

You chose well. That SOD will be one great camp knife. I really don't need another camp knife. Heck, I don't need any more knives at all. But I really like the SOD a lot. Dan will have to make a bunch of these to satisfy the demand!

Up to this point I've had to put my trust in the quality of SY steel on the reviews, videos and comments from everyone here.

On faith.

But now..!

I am also excited to put "Junior" to the test!
