I am glad to see you got your sheath and are putting it to good use.
I've made 5 so far and their all already gone, so I'm hard at work making more.

Great pics! I have the same type of sheath for my CRKT Sting as you do for your Howler and it is an impressive piece of work.

Ted and Jerry that "white stuff" is snow I can understand being from cali or Florida why you would assume it was coke.

I am on dialup. It did take forever to load. I connect at 44k. Nice pics! It looked like a nice late winter/early spring day. I saved all the pics to my HD. I like the beads, those are cool. Quite unusual beads for a lanyard. I like neat historic old things like that, as you’ve probably seen from my “artifacts” thread.

Just awesome pics, PoP! Your DF sheath is just gorgeous. And the tree never stood a chance

I also like the fact that the whole family is wearing neckers!
+1 to that! It really is beautiful, where did you get it?

You bet Andy! I knew you would appreciate those ancient burial beads! I think they are cool too. Steeped in old history and ancient mystery! Wore over 5,00 years ago when shiny and noisy as part of a Egyptian Priests clothing. The antiquities dealer I bought them from guarantees them from a 1950 tomb find. They along with tons of other stuff were spirited away from Egypt before the government stepped in and stopped people from raping Egypt of her national heritage. He said the garment would have been made of leather, like a tunic, floor length. Then covered from top to bottom with these copper bells so when the Priest walked he made a great commotion and shone like the Sun as he rang out the call to worship.
I have three beads, all on sheaths now. Not quite their intended role, but at least they are back on leather again.

Antiques rule!!

Peace Andy.

Dave

POP, Great photos. I love the beads.... Very nice! Egyptology is what I studied before taking on East African Archaeology and the more currant Native American Indian.

I have a few pieces that I "borrowed" when I went to Egypt.

I also really like the beads. Lots of ancient Egypt shows on the History channel tonight.
