I would'nt blame .338 for wanting to sort it out on here.... I read the SR forum post and he got the sort of reception from some that would put you off...sort of like HD did on one post asking about Infi....people seem to be more relaxed and nicer to one another on here....regardless of which Bussekin knives are being discussed. It would be great to have Eric visit more as well....

CW leaves for the US in the morning. Eric will get it within the next 5-7 days. So we'll all know the outcome soon.

Well said. It is the "pack" thing to do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

338, it just rolls off the tongue.

I looked for the tip again today, no go ATM <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> . How hard can it be, a green tip in the green grass <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />. Will do another quick search tomorrow AM, fingers crossed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> , I can jag the tip into the package.

Glad to see you were able to work things out with Eric. I, like many others it seems, am interested to see what Eric says about the breakage.

Stalker, I really understand how upsetting it can be to break a treasured knife, but my experiences with Swamp Rat and Eric have all been positive. I'm glad this is being resolved. Chopweiler is my favorite camp knife, and I have a bunch of those. We all need to find out if this tip failure was the result of a steel defect or just too much lateral force. I buy a lot of knives, but I expect more from my Busse kin blades than I do from other manufacturers. Thanks for sending the CW in for inspection. You are doing a service for all of us who love our Chopweilers and depend on them.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Welcome to the Yard, Eric. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Sorry you joined up under these particular circumstances... Please drop by the Yard from time to time... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Tez, good to hear that your sending it in. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> That probably is a good thing for all of us, I too love the CW and although I have complete confidence in it and it being able to take whatever I can dish out, I still look forward to hearing the outcome, I know Eric and Jerry will take care of you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
