Three years ago I woke up face down on the floor and couldn't remember anything that had happened that day. I stumbled around the apartment to find my (then) three year old trying to console my (then) 1 year old who was thankfully in his crib. I called my wife who came home from the store and found me dazed with the front of my pants soaked. Took me a few moments to realize I pissed myself. She took me to the ER and to make a long story short, they told me I had a seizure and after an MRI, a brain tumor.

Non-cancerous.

I'm fine now, but it was frightening for my whole family.

My heart goes to you and your family Jeff, and hope your wife recovers quickly and that you and your children find strength from this situation in the future.

It's good to know you have friends here.

Thanks again guys, it means so much to me and her.

To give you an update, we're home now and I think we're all in better spirits, she seems much better now. I plan on taking tomorrow off to look after her, and it'll give me an opportunity to do a little catching up too on my pants orders too if I have time... I know, I know... I'll take care of her first, but she'll probably be sleeping too...

Boy it's good to be home...

Smoke sent followed by best wishes

Jeff only work on the pants if it helps you relax and take your mind off things.

Jeff, I just saw this thread and found out about Rhonda's illness. I wish I could do more than offer Mrs KSJ's and my own best wishes and prayers from here. We will continue to send our prayers for your family! Please let me know if there is anything we can do to make things easier for you and yours.

When I first saw this thread, I didn't know what to say because I had no idea what had happened. I'm very glad to hear Rhonda's doing better. Does she remember what happened just before her to collapse?

That's one of the things we gotta figure out, she's pretty unclear on what happened before she fell. She's suppose to go see a Neurologist and have another MRI, although she's had a couple of those recently...

She had called me and my son on the phone not long before my daughter found her and said she wasn't feeling too good, but she doesn't remember those calls. I was in the process of getting ready to leave work and head home when I got the call from my daughter, I guess it's good that I didn't get out the door too quickly or I would have been real confused when I arrived home. It was bad enough getting home to find it empty and not knowing where they had taken her at first. I tried to call my daughter's cell, but because she was in the Ambulance she didn't answer because she didn't want to cause any confusion for the Ambulance driver. I'm very proud of her, she handled things really well and she did call as soon as they arrived at the hospital.

She's resting well today, sore from all the poking and prodding, but other than that she's doing pretty good.
