Already getting impatient waiting for my SOD <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> A lot of folks are. I don't like uncertainty about when an order will ship, which is why I usually order from the Busse Company store or even 'ganzas rather than from the Busse Combat main site. However, that's a new business model based on what people said they wanted, so (other than a bit of whining) I'm going along with it.

waiting is hard, but one thing I can tell you is this type of waiting is much better than the way it used to be. At least you have a picture to look at and you know your order is in. For me, everytime I order a knife it is like Christmas, I anxiously await Santa Mailman to deliver.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Welcome to the Yard!! I also saw Noss "having a go" at the S6 ~ that was my first SY knife after seeing that test & chatting to my fellow Brit's on here! LUV LUV my S6 to bits..... I might just be tempted to indulge in a SOD later... but too much knife of late.... it's addictive!!! Wait & see!!!

Hey JB, I haven't seen you post for a while. You know, I haven't seen many Scrap Yard knives get cheaper over time (Yard Hooks were an exception; nobody wanted them for a time after they were released, but people have come to appreciate even those). If you want a SoD, you probably won't get a better chance than now.

Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone. Good folks here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Already making a deal with the resident sheath maker a.k.a. Rainwalker. The wait is definitly killing me but I know it'll be worth it. The SOD will be my "survival" knife.

Welcome to the yard Poi. I think you will enjoy the community here. As for the sheath, you definitely made the right choice regardless of how long the wait is. As a matter of fact, I'm willing to bet that when you get your first Rainwalker sheath you will almost immediately order another one.
