After this one is done I believe a 2-3 month waiting period between new knives.

+1! I think it may take a little bit for them to fill all the orders coming in for this model. Also, since this is the first test of the new business plan, it may take a little while to work out any kinks and make it the efficient operation we all are looking forward to.

This is not a complaint by any means, BTW..... just an observation of something new being tried, tested, and being made true!

I love your work Dan, and cannot wait for the chance to play with the SODs!

I think they will remain for sale until production catches up with the orders. I'd like to see a new blade up as soon as they take the SOD down but I don't expect one right away

I hope they have another knife up when they put down the SOD...

I suspect that there will be a break between selling SoDs and announcing a new release, but I hope it won't be a long one. The hidden piece of the puzzle is military contracts.

I believe we can assume that military contracts are a substantial part of Scrap Yard's production schedule, but I don't think any of us know how much. Since that part of the business is opaque, I don't believe that we can expect an immediate new release announcement, nor can we make an informed decision about how long the break might be.

Oh Bruce, my friend, how you love stirring the pot. And I always fall for it, every darned time. We shall see soon enough how the new business plan does. Since no business plan ever survives the first contact with the consumer for long, I'm sure Dan will tweek it as needed.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
