I was wondering if the folks at the shop have photos of playing with/testing the new SOD??? That would be very cool to see!

Well as soon as I get my SOD, there will be some action shots of it. I'm anxious to see how it does against the Camp Tramp, Chopweiler, BRKT Hudson Bay, Sarsquatch, Ranger RD7, Ratweiler, and maybe a few others.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Nice pictures everyone! My roommate saw the one that looks like Pitman is using his DM to pry a log apart and said, "is he prying that apart?!" I had to let him know that yes, he's probably prying, but these knives are pretty dang beefy so prying is not a problem!

Ah hah! At first I didn't think I had any Scrap Yard action shots, but I do! How about these?

Here are a couple of some Rangers. While I didn't do a side by side comparison of the Dog Father and the RD9, I think my Dog Father is a better chopper than the RD9, but the RD9 seems like it could be better as an all around use "big" knife. Unfortunately, the RD9 was a pass around that I got to use for a week, so I don't actually own it.

When the SOD I've ordered arrives, I'd love to compare it a bit to my smaller Ranger (although the smaller Ranger I have is about an inch shorter than the SOD should be).

Just for fun, here's one more of my Dog Father and a stripped SOG Seal 2000.
