A .44 mag has been on my "must buy" list for some time. I'm jealous Bors! Nice snag.
When I lived in OR a buddy used to let me shoot his .44 mag Thompson single shot pistol and it was a definite tack driver. I also had the pleasure of shooting a .44 mag Vaquero out in the AZ desert and it was also very accurate despite the primitive sights.
