here are better comparo pics ![[Linked Image from img518.imageshack.us]](http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/567/img5414dv3.jpg) ![[Linked Image from img379.imageshack.us]](http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/8940/img5415re9.jpg) The SOD feels a bit heavier than the CT. SOD is about 1/4inch longer than the CT (that could be my somewhat wear out CT tip tho) and the CT is differentially tempered and SOD is not. The CT goes with me every summer to the camp but I "might" bring the SOD next year just to try out how it does in the woods.

differentially tempered and SOD is not. (quote) Is that beacuse the SOD is SR77 and the CT is ??? The SOD looks........well...........you know...........just ...........BIGGER- more heavy- more powerful . Maybe because it is new- and I don't have a CT (yet) .......heck- I don't even have any of my SODs yet. Oh well- Thanks for pics and comparisons. Great blades

it seems like somebody said that, but I don't see how it could possibly fit. I don't have my blades yet, but I was looking at the sheaths a few weeks ago and it didn't look nearly wide enough.

I'd like to do a little dumpster diving over at the swamp and get some Camp Trap nylon sheaths.

The SOD does NOT fit into an unmodified Spec Ops sheath, I just tried. You can just squeeze a Camp Tramp in and even that is tight.

did i see someone mention if the SOD will fit in the spec ops large sheath? I've got the Spec-Ops Survival Sheath and it fits my Ratweiler quite well. So, if it fits the RW, then it should fit the SOD just fine. I'll let you know when it gets here

My DMCG which is fatter then the SOD, fits in my stock spec-ops combat master sheath fine. Length I don't think, might have to step it up to the larger size, but thickness should be ok.
