It's because the extremely large amount of International Order chargebacks (fraud) that have cost Busse a bunch of money. I was gonna link the BF thread about it, but couldn't find it. It's late, so I'm givin' up for now.

Grizzly - that canoe trip sounds awesome! The closest thing I have done to that was to camp and fish around the Kenai peninsula, but that was camping out of a pick-up truck (my wife wouldn't even consider a tent - she just KNEW the bears would get us!). I love Alaska, I was 2 times there. Canoeing through Alaska is the dream I every day dream...last time, a Fjällkniven NL2 Odin was with me, next time (I hope) a Rat or a Scrapper..

Grizzly - You certainly have good "taste" in your choice of knives! I have often thought of going back there, but the expense is a bit much. Grizzly - We were there the last two weeks of August and the first week of September back in 1990. We were walking around in tee-shirts at the State Fair. Our third week, returning from Fairbanks to Anchorage we got some snow.
