I don't understand, why ordering is so difficult for europeans, our money has the same value...isn't it?

It's because the extremely large amount of International Order chargebacks (fraud) that have cost Busse a bunch of money. I was gonna link the BF thread about it, but couldn't find it. It's late, so I'm givin' up for now.

Grizzly - that canoe trip sounds awesome! The closest thing I have done to that was to camp and fish around the Kenai peninsula, but that was camping out of a pick-up truck (my wife wouldn't even consider a tent - she just KNEW the bears would get us!). Many years ago I spent a week canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Northern Minnesota, and it was a beautiful trip as well. I hope you get your Scrapper 6 - you WILL like it! Hi folks

Thank you all for answering - I just asked a well known member of the forum for sending me a Scrapper 6 with a sheath, but get no answer until yet..

I don't understand, why ordering is so difficult for europeans, our money has the same value...isn't it?

I planned to canoe a river in Alaska 2008 with the scrapper 6, so I have a few months left to wait...

Grizzly

Isn't your money MORE valuable? And I am envious of that trip your planning!

I love Alaska, I was 2 times there. Canoeing through Alaska is the dream I every day dream...last time, a Fjällkniven NL2 Odin was with me, next time (I hope) a Rat or a Scrapper..

Grizzly - You certainly have good "taste" in your choice of knives! I have often thought of going back there, but the expense is a bit much. So, I will have to be content with trips to the "lower 48". But that's OK, as this is one big beautiful country. Take care! Tom

PS: Americans, please take very care for this last frontier, it is a jewel and you should know, that you should be proud of it!

Grizzly - We were there the last two weeks of August and the first week of September back in 1990. We were walking around in tee-shirts at the State Fair. Our third week, returning from Fairbanks to Anchorage we got some snow.

You are absolutely correct in that we need to protect our "last frontier". It would be a shameful travesty to lose it to "development and progress".

You might be right GF - especially with all the hot air being released by politicians before the elections!
